We aren’t so sure how roaring 2020 has been but that doesn’t mean we can’t take some inspiration for one America’s greatest novels! For our December mood board we went wild, creating a space that is full of glitz and glam, drawing on the bold colors and art deco style of the 1920’s.
We went bold with a beautiful, stylized tile from Artistic Tile called Siam Metallic (3). We think that it captures the flair and drama that is so often associated with the 1920’s. It’s bold, it’s glamours, and just looking at it makes us feel like we are attending a party at the Gatsby mansion. To continue this theme we chose a stunning floor tile, also from Artistic Tile, called China Black (4). China Black is highly polished black marble that has very fine white veining cutting through the stone, adding just the right amount of drama to complement the wall tile.
For lighting, we chose this stunning fixture from Circa lighting called the Adele (6). This little beauty hits all the right marks, elegant, super glam, and looks right at home in our Gastby inspired bath! To keep the drama coming, we chose to go with dark paint to really make the tile and gold accents pop, like this simple yet classy mirror from Restoration Hardware (5).
And of course, we can’t forget the star of our show – the vanity. For this bath design we went with out Riva vanity finished in Black Acrylic with a Metal Base in Satin Brass (1). The Riva brings just the right of modern flair and brings the drama with the high gloss finish. Throw in the Satin Brass base, Recessed Bar Pulls, and faucets by Watermark (2) and you’ve got yourself a bath that is ready to party!
